Dr. Geovanna Patta is a dedicated General Dentist at Beacon Dentistry who combines a lifelong passion for healthcare with the precision and artistry of modern dentistry. Having grown up in a dental office—her father is an orthodontist—she developed a deep appreciation for the field early in life.

Education and Professional Background

Dr. Patta’s journey in dentistry spans two continents. Originally from Brazil, she first earned her dental degree at Sao Leopoldo Mandic in Sao Paulo, where she practiced as a general dentist. Driven to expand her expertise, she moved to the United States and attended the International Dental Education Program at UT Health San Antonio, earning her dental license in the U.S..

She is an active member of the professional dental community, maintaining memberships with the Spear Education continuing education program, the Texas Dental Association (TDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Fort Worth District Dental Society. Dr. Patta is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and participates in the Fort Worth Spear Education Study Club.

Life Outside the Office

Dr. Patta is a native of the Amazon region in Brazil, where she was born and raised. She comes from a small, close-knit family who still reside in the Amazon, and she visits them as often as possible, often meeting up for family trips in various countries. She is also fortunate to have her mother living nearby in the U.S..

In her free time, Dr. Patta is an avid traveler who "always has a travel list going". Her hobbies include reading, embroidering, and ballet. She is also a Formula 1 enthusiast and tries to attend races whenever she can. Having grown up in the Amazon forest, Dr. Patta has many interesting stories and pictures to share from her unique upbringing.
